TweetShare
As we grow as photographers and learn to “see” the world around us, its helpful to be able to study great examples of composition, lighting, and technique. Here is a list of photographers that I believe master all of those.
This is by no means a complete list so please feel free to tell us who your favorite photographers are.

ALthough he’s offline travelling until November, Gavin Russell’s photo’s are probably the best I’ve seen on Flickr. More than just a photographer, he gives so much of himself in the process.

He’s currently travelling across large sections of the world and can’t wait to see what he comes back with.

Why does taking pictures of people who look as if they are anorexic and near death (Zhang Jingna, Quentin Shih, Hirano Aichi) make someone a great photographer? These are deeply uninteresting pictures. Some of the others aren’t bad.
