Photographer and graphic designer Matthias Jung has been fascinated with design and photography since he was a child. Working with his dad in the photo lab sparked his interest in using scissors and glue to cut apart his photos and create fantastic collages.
Matthias continues building creative architecture compositions today in his ongoing “Surreal Houses” project.
“I love having elements that cause many different associations to collide with one another.”
Some of the background images were taken by photographer and journalist Oliver Abraham. All of the other images were photographed by Matthias. Many of them were taken during trips around northeastern Germany.
