Photographer Showcase – Dave Hill

I’m a huge fan of Dave Hill and the “Dave Hill Look”. He creates such a great feel to his images. Some say its through HDR imaging, however according to Dave its not. He explains that he achieves his look through lighting first then Photoshop. I would agree with the lighting claim because of the fact that many people have tried to achieve his look solely through post production methods and some come close but they still don’t fully capture Dave’s style.

Its not just his amazing style that makes his work stand out but also his creative concepts and scenarios. One good example of this is his series titled Girl on an Adventure. Please take a look at the samples below to see what I mean and remember to visit his site at davehillphoto.com

I really love the one with the girl on the safari, holding the binoculars. I can feel the adventure.

I like most the “Girl on Adventure” series :) (though, not so much the underwater one)

However, great photos! I like the style, the way he modified them.
