Get Exposed: User Submitted Showcases

Most of you probably have noticed our community portfolio, where you can join and submit your latest and greatest work. We want to take this a step further by proposing a photographic theme, either weekly or biweekly, where you submit your most creative photographic interpretation of said theme. This won’t be a contest per say however we will review the submissions and hand pick a group to publish in a showcase article. With thousands of views per day, this will be great exposure for the selected photographers. Each showcased image will have the photographers flickr name and a link to the image.

From time to time with certain posts we also do a call for submissions. Here is an example where we do this: Specialize In: Architectural and Industrial Photography. From these submissions we will also select what we think are the most successful and showcase them in their own article.

We want to read your suggestions regarding the showcase articles and also if you have themes you would like to see please feel free to suggest some here.
