I am very excited to share with you some of the most inspiring, magical, fine art photography I have seen in quite some time. It is my great please to introduce you to the photography of Diane Varner.
I had the great honor to get to know Diane though another project of mine, UnionActions.com. I was very excited that she wanted to use my Photoshop actions and was thrilled to find out she loved them. Diane has amazing post processing skills, as you will see, so it really meant a lot to me that she found them worthy.
Diane started her art career as a visual artist which had an obvious influence on the images she would later create. Diane started pursing photography seriously in 2004. She began going on daily walks with her dog Boomer and decided to bring her camera along with them. As a breast cancer survivor, Diane also began to see the world in a different way. She starting to notice the small nuances of life and how the mundane is truly magical. Diane began capturing and sharing her new found perspective with the world.
In 2006 Diane launched her photoblog, Daily Walks. Daily Walks is a masterful collection of her incredible images and even some tutorials on how she achieves her “look”. Not only will you find her amazing photography there but also her insightful poetry she pairs with her images.
Below is a sample of Diane’s work. It was really tough to pick out just a few to show because I really loved them all. To experience more, please jump over to her photoblog, Daily Walks.
Again make sure and check out Diane’s other work here.
